A good portion of my free time is spent outside with my family, dogs, and horses year round. That said, even if it looks good, if my workout gear is not functional, versatile, as well as weather friendly, it usually falls to the bottom of the work out gear pile in my closet. Even with an indoor workout (though I prefer outdoor hands down, with the exception of a Barre class and some of my favorite DVDs, e.g. Tracy Anderson), I end up running around outside. A nice hike on the C&O Canal is a personal favorite. However, regardless of the workout, I do like to be stylish and there are so many great athleisure (chic workout clothes) options on the market. Here, is a workout outfit that I wore the other day for an outdoor workout/hike with my two best furry workout partners, F and Z. Note: F’s custom dog collar with crystals is handmade by Wild Dog Design located in Lexington, Kentucky.

Camo Top: Size up. I am wearing a medium. ($17.99!) | Black Leggings | UGG boot: While I would not recommend for running, these are super warm and cozy, plus very comfortable for outdoor walking and hiking for long periods of time. | Black jacket: This is an old Ariat jacket so here is a similiar Patagonia option that I have and wear all the time.
